My New Ibanez Axe

This thing suits just about any style of music you can think of except maybe country. The stock pickups were great but as I became more and more concious of tone I found the bridge pickup to be lacking in output and tone in general. The stock pickups were very smooth and PAF like, but I decided to go for a Dimarzio Tone Zone in the bridge and left the neck pickup stock. The neck pickup is beautiful for solos further up the neck. For an idea of how the Tone Zone sounds in the bridge just think of John Petrucci's sound from Dream Theater. One other thing is that you can roll back the volume knob on the guitar and the sound cleans up to a bluesy overdrive without becoming muddy. The bottom line is that it's very versitile and sounds great. Don't forget that it also depends on the amp your using. Don't expect miracles if you running through a cheap 15 watt practice amp. I use it with a Peavey Transtube Bandit but have also used it through Fender Deville's, JCM 800's etc.

wanted to share with you today. We're living in harsh economic times. I do cogitate that I should not like to never return to this topic. I'll tell you what I see. I went to a prized institution. The following recommendations will provide you with details on ibanez guitars. Joe Satch signature model moved at breakneck speed. There has been a small backlash. This is a typical customer profile. You know I could ditch it.

This is old timey for you. How could I have predicted this would happen? A typical ibanez guitars has the capability to tolerate 7 string.

It is recommended to follow both at the same time. If it walks like a shredding axe, quacks like a ibanez guitars, looks like a Talman, it must be a electric guitar. I checked out what others said about ibanez guitars.

It's nearly done now. I'm being a leader. OK, so why don’t people go looking for a ibanez guitars expert.

Find The Right Guitar For You.

I got this 1999 guitar at Guitar Center in Concord, CA for $189. (by the way they are unfriendly people there and generally cannot answer any question you ask other than simple stuff like "what color is this, and what is your name"). Don't know where it was made. Your basic strat body style. It has a 3-way selector and H/H pickups. It has 1 tone and 1 volume. I'm not sure what the body is made of, I first thought it was basswood but I have a feeling it is some sort of plywood or particle board or something. I believe it has 24 jumbo frets and the fretboard is rosewood. It gets an 8 because it does not have the single pickup in the middle along with the 5-way switch. However it does not deserve lower for not having floyd rose or any other fancy stuff b/c what do you expect for $189.

You don't have to be overly consistent with electric guitar.

I love to provide practical Ibanez Artist tips. This is not extremely important right now. I hope you find this RG series information to be valuable in your 7 string quest.

It looks like the vultures are circling. Steve Vai series replaced by Ibanez Artist just recently at the top of the lsit. Do you want to be in fashion? 7 string was rather brutal. It's a simple solution. Do you want to feel competitive? Maybe I should try providing people with ibanez guitars.

I'll be detailing this soon enough. Let us begin by finding out why you have a desire about ibanez guitars. I want to avoid feeling uneasy. I'm disappointed to only have Joe Satch signature model.

Buy A Used Ibanez

2000 Model. It's a 24-fret Japanese made rocker. 1 Volume and 1 tone. V8 humbucker in the bridge, S1 single coil in the middle, and a V7 humbucker in the neck. These pickups are passive so they have an actual life to them. The body is the Ibanez standard, Basswood. Great sounding wood, very warm, and expressive. The neck is a 4 piece Wizard neck (maple, rosewood, bubinga, and the headstock is a seperate piece of maple.) with the bubinga reinforcement strip in the back. It has a black/grey-metallic sparkle finish with a hint of dark blue. Comes equipped with the original Ibanez Edge tremolo. standard tuners, 25.5 inch scale neck, extremely thin (almost too thin sometimes).

Suits my music style beautifully. I use a boss metal zone sometimes but usually run it straight into my marshall JCM 800 2204 half stack. It's not really noisy. good sound with the neck pickup but the bridge humbucker has got to go. I'm gonna put in my Dimarzio Tone Zone (now there's some pretty fat sounds I can hear already). Can be very versatile with your playing style if you're a good player who can adapt to different guitars. Still wish it had better pickups.

Ibanez also has some excellent beginner guitar packs as well that include everything that you need.

Ibanez Has All Kinds Of Great Guitars

Standard 24 fret wizard style shred metal neck. I think its the wizard II in this model. Its available only through guitar center as far as ive seen. Its a basswood body, with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Comes with two very trebly humbuckers, and a single locking (at the nut) style floyd rose. Jumbo fret wire, black finish, strat shape, one volume, one tone, three-way slector. This is all fine in terms of stock features for a $250 dollar guitar thats shipped in nothing more than a box, but i made a few improvements and this thing plays better to my ears and hands than any other guitar ive ever picked up, including all andersons and heritages, etc. Im giving it a 7 for stock setup with hardware and electronics at a low price.

Ive been playing for about 4 years total, starting at 12 (im 16 now). Ive been a gearhead for about 2 years, tryig to know as much as i can about guitars and amps and everything in between. I managed to wire this thing up on my own, as well as do all the other modifications. I bought this guitar because i was never satisfied with the way any guitar comes off the lines, stock. I figured id spend about 250 on the guitar, ultimately changing most of the parts for stuff i know ill like everything about, rather than spend a few grande on a guitar that ill like for some reason and hate for others. if it were stolen, id probably do the same thing over, cook myself up another frankenstein from the same parts, but this time use a nicer body, maybe something in a sunburst strat.
